Sobre a vaga

At Stark, we forge the future of European and national security through cutting-edge, AI-driven technology and unmatched engineering precision. As a premier defence technology company, our mission is clear: to equip NATO Allies and their partners with next-generation autonomous defence platforms and advanced AI-driven software built to perform in the world’s most demanding environments.

We believe that true security stems from relentless innovation. By combining elite engineering talent with agile technology and an AI-native operational culture, Stark turns complex defence challenges into field-tested, multi-domain solutions.

WHY JOIN US

• The software and systems you work on directly protect personnel and defend European and national sovereignty.

• You will work alongside industry-leading minds on autonomous systems, advanced propulsion, and secure cyber platforms.

• We foster a fast-paced, collaborative environment where bold ideas are supported by serious R&D backing.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Our Quality Control team ensures that all incoming materials, parts, and sub-assemblies meet the highest standards before reaching production. As an Incoming Quality Inspector, you will join a hands-on, detail-oriented team directly responsible for maintaining product integrity across our defense manufacturing lines. We work closely with Supplier Quality Engineering, Logistics, and Production to intercept non-conformances early and prevent assembly line disruptions.

YOUR MISSION

As the IQC Inspector, you are the first line of defense in ensuring the quality of our products. You are responsible for inspecting a wide variety of incoming materials from external manufacturers, including mechanical parts, electronic components, batteries, wire harnesses, and general printed circuit boards (PCBs). With a keen eye for detail, you will verify that all incoming materials comply with strict quality standards and technical specifications before they are released to production.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AT STARK

• Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on incoming mechanical parts, electronics, batteries, wires, and PCBs using standard measurement and visual inspection tools.

• Execute standardized test protocols on electronics and batteries using appropriate bench-test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters and custom fixtures).

• Identify physical, mechanical, or electrical defects and immediately block/quarantine non-conforming materials to prevent them from reaching the production line.

• Record inspection results, create and maintain test protocols, and document all non-conformances within our quality management/complaint systems.

• Support root-cause analyses and collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams to initiate corrective actions for quality deviations

• Ensure all processes adhere to internal quality requirements and standard guidelines like ISO 9001 (and perspective EN9100).

• Review and interpret technical assembly drawings, schematics, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and inspection criteria to ensure strict compliance.

• Operate within a 2-shift system (morning and evening shift alternating every two weeks) to support incoming goods processing and production deadlines.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE MISSION

• Completed vocational training or technical education in mechanics, electronics, quality inspection, or a related field.

• 2+ years of professional experience in incoming goods inspection, quality control, or technical quality assurance within manufacturing.

• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

• Willingness and flexibility to work in a 2-shift rotation (morning and evening shift alternating every two weeks).

• Good communication skills in German and English.

NICE TO HAVE

• Basic knowledge of advanced QM tools (e.g., Control Plans, FMEA).

• Experience working with externally manufactured components and supplier inspection processes.

• Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling requirements.

If you're interested in building the future of European Defence with us, and you see yourself reflected on the description above, please send us your CV in English. We're looking forward to meeting you!
